LoadPass Permits

Since 1986, the Western Dakota Energy Association has operated the Uniform County Permit program, known today as the LoadPass Permit System. It is an online system automating the process for request, review, payment and issuance of permits for over-weight or over-sized vehicles on county and township roads.

Background

After running the program under the Uniform County Permit name for over 30 years, the association decided to brand the system and create their own website and marketing materials to promote it.

Branding

We worked with a committee to design a simple, clean, memorable logo to solidify the brand and convey unified strength and trust. The logo is a word mark variation with the tail of the L depicting the side view of a tractor trailer. We used the existing color palette of red, black and white to tie the brand into the organization’s. Brand elements of tire tracks and asphalt textures tie in the trucking theme.

Marketing Materials

We carried the essence of the logo over into the print and digital collateral to create consistency across all print materials and online resources.
